ABOUT

I am a Graphic Designer with over 13 years of experience in a wide variety of areas. I have created print collateral by designing pieces and then interfacing with printers and prepping files according to their specs. I have experience with web design – including not only tools like Dreamweaver, but also various CMS applications. I have a working knowledge of HTML and CSS which allows me to dig in and tweak design as needed. I have developed brands and even created a Graphic Standard Manual in one of the positions I occupied for over 12 years. My strict adherence to branding standards results in consistency across many platforms and pieces. I have experience in video production. From sourcing music, stills and clips to editing and some motion graphics (Adobe After Effects), I am able to develop ideas, shoot, and edit video to a high standard.

Get to Know Us

I spent about 14 years as a Graphic Designer and then Art Director. After a few opportunities to run various small businesses, my wife and I saw an opportunity to sell all and move to a desirable place in the Outer Banks of North Carolina and start a new business in a different field of work entirely. The work was physically demanding and I was forced to look elsewhere for work, as my body was telling me it was unsustainable for the long term. I then felt a tug to go back to the world I once knew – Marketing and Graphic Design. Now I can have my cake and eat it too – I get to live in the place I love and still am able to work for a great company “alongside of” great people (virtually, of course).
